Located in southern California American, Optisurgical Inc., also known as AOI, operates from a 10,000 square foot facility in the city of Lake Forest, California.
Herbert "Cam" Cameron founded AOI in 1992 for two reasons. First, he wanted to make a difference in the ophthalmic industry by providing customers with superior service at an affordable cost. Secondly, he wanted to achieve a personal dream of owning a company in an industry that helped people.
Under his direction, AOI has become a leader in the ophthalmic industry worldwide. Having achieved his initial goals, Cam's vision for the company has extended into designing and manufacturing innovative medical devices while continuing to grow AOI's business globally in providing superior service and products.
